Waterfront home on Hood Canal
A comfortable two story home sits at the waters edge on Hood Canal. Waterside French doors up to the view, while street side windows look onto a front garden. This narrow lot was a challenge, but the house provides just the right amenities. Wood beams and trim have a soft golden glow. Balconies open the house to the sun.
Blakely Harbor Cottage
The design for this wonderful cottage in the woods, perched on a seaside cliff, was done together with architect David Lown, AIA.Our client needed an 800 square foot cottage with a separate garage for their numerous guests visiting their waterfront island estate. The architecture of this house correlates to the main house, which has a mountain lodge feel with stonewalls and timbered roofs.
Natural landscaping surrounds this cottage to help it nestle in a lushly wooded setting. Guests can use the small office in this one bedroom home while enjoying views of the rocky seashore.
The stone column bases, wide porch with swing, shingle siding, broad protecting roof and warm natural interiors all contribute to a memorable stay for gratified guests.
Windcliff at Indianola
Windcliff is the name given by the owners of this cliff side home with sweeping views of Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline.
An older daylight basement home with a good foundation was demolished down to the floor level.
The new home's schematic layout was created by the owner, a retired architect, and extensive fine finishes created a refined look while being very fuctional and livable.
Indianola Waterfront Home
On the water's edge of a small sandy beach lot, this home transports visitors to an east coast seaside village, almost! A compact floor plan kept costs down, with a wide open main floor spilling light throughout.
The master bedroom is on the main floor, with two guest rooms and bathroom upstairs. Windows placed with the cook in mind makes this a lovely home in which to entertain and to relax.
Issaquah Remodel
The owner's desire to transform a 1970s split-level-entry tract home, in the Mirrormont neighborhood of Issaquah, into a craftsman style home created this open floor plan home with fine finishes.
The design together with the excellent workmanship of a local carpenter and sub-contractors exceeded the owners' expectations.
Original brick facing on the fireplace was replaced with Frasier River Rocks and warm rich hickory floors were installed throughout. Stained hemlock trim and fir door and windows add to the beauty of this home.
Manitou Beach Home
"How do we turn this old, cramped, house into the home of our dreams" asked the owners of this former farmhouse on Bainbridge Island. The virtural 3D design showed them how it could be done.

Miller Bay View Home
What's a builder to do? He wanted to create a unique home to fit a west facing sloping lot with fabulous views of Miller Bay.

The interior is an open floor plan for entertaining, with abundant day lighting and incorporates views of the surrounding forest. On the second floor, sloped ceilings give the three bedrooms and two baths a cozy feel under the roof, with plenty of headroom.
